![]() There's relatively little about the techy sideĪrgyll CMS is one option, but it seems to be three steps up in complexity, and I have several questions that are holding me back from going that route. I recently wrote up quite a long reflection on why make prints and just what goes into one. Likewise, but better is a term I'm always a bit wary of, even with all the new kit I'm lucky enough to get to test. I will keep asking, although there are probably limits on how good a B&W oriented profile can get when using the normal colour driver.īut I enjoy tinkering and tend to suspect that there's probably a better way. I've a Colormunki and i1Studio device here, but have not tried them with the latest release of the software. I did tweak them a bit at the time, but this was with the beta kit I was testing. I tested i1Studio before it came out and thought the linearity of the B&W profiles could do with some work. However, given they don't include this in i1Profiler I'm not holding out too much hope. Yes, although I feel there is more on the B&W side they could do. I don't want to hijack your thread, but more generally, do you have any particular recommendations and/or suggestions for those of use who make printer profiles with an X-Rite ColorMunki Photo / i1Studio? I've been using the X-Rite i1Studio software, including its special B&W mode, and it seems to produce pretty good profiles. Keith, as typical, you're a generous and helpful expert community member. ![]() The nice big patches are really quick to read using the QTR target reading mode.Īs ever, if anyone wants specific version let me know - I think I've most measurement solutions covered. I realised I didn't have a version optimised for the SpyderPrint, so here is one (actually in GG2.2 and A98 versions for ease of use). I know quite a few people make use of my B&W test image which has various target versions for measurement. ![]()
